He had not give permission to Path to access his address book and send its contents to its server.

"The Hipster app, in an unsecured HTTP GET request, sends a big chunk of your iPhone address book in the form of an email param that includes a comma-separated list of email addresses," Chang wrote.

MobileIron increased its customer base by 600% year over year including adding 435 new enterprise customers in the last quarter.
Rapid adoption of mobile devices and applications is driving the growth of the burgeoning Mobile IT market. IDC reports that over 80 million new smartphones and tablets entered enterprises in 2011 and forecasts that number will reach over 140 million by 2013. Trends such as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) are making iPhones, iPads and Android devices corporate standards, and IT is now required to support multiple devices and operating systems. The ubiquity of smart devices is also driving an explosion of mobile enterprise apps.
