MobileIron shows explosive growth in 2011

Yesterday MobileIron announced explosive customer growth and financial achievements for 2011. MobileIron increased its customer base by 600% year over year including adding 435 new enterprise customers in the last quarter. MobileIron closed the year with more than 100 of the Fortune 500 and Global 250 companies as customers. Bookings grew by more than 400% year over year and the company added over 130 new employees, doubling its size.

Rapid adoption of mobile devices and applications is driving the growth of the burgeoning Mobile IT market. IDC reports that over 80 million new smartphones and tablets entered enterprises in 2011 and forecasts that number will reach over 140 million by 2013.
